Eating Disorders Connection Hub

We are excited to announce our new group, The Mind Body Practice’s Eating Disorders Connection Hub, starting on the 8th of December 2020.

The Mind Body Practice’s Eating Disorders Connection Hub aims to create a space for any individual 18 and over who has experienced an Eating Disorder, no matter where they are in their journey of recovery, to hear, share, and connect with others who are experiencing something similar. Eating Disorders are good at isolating us and maintaining feelings of shame, so we want to create a group that challenges the shame that is at times attached to an Eating Disorder. The Support Group will be therapist lead, however, will be an adjunct to your usual therapy, i.e. the Support Group may be attended as well as individual therapy with your Psychologist and regularly attend GP appointments to maintain medical stability.

The Mind Body Practice’s Eating Disorders Connection Hub are rolling groups, where lots of different aspects of Eating Disorder recovery are shared. You are more than welcome to attend as many support group sessions you desire, where you will hear and connect with others who have experienced a similar journey.

We look forward to creating this space with you!

Warm regards,

The Team at The Mind Body Practice
