About
As a Clinical Psychology Registrar, I am an advocate for empowering individuals. I aim to create a warm, inviting, supportive, and non-judgemental space where people can bring their true self.
Therapy is always evolving, both in the room and through research, and I aim to learn from my patients as much as I do from science. My treatment approach utilises a range of evidence-based psychological research that is tailored to the individual, including CBT, DBT, ACT, schema therapy, and narrative therapy. For therapy to be effective, I strongly believe that trust, respect, and collaboration are key so that individuals can meet their desired therapeutic goals. I am particularly interested in working with children and young adults experiencing mood, behavioural, and interpersonal difficulties, and my interest extends to adults and older adults as well.
I have conducted individual therapy and facilitated therapeutic groups to individuals across the lifespan in both private and public settings. I have worked with various presentations including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, personality disorders, interpersonal difficulties, and emotional dysregulation. Additionally, I have experience in providing psychometric assessments and diagnosis for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as attention-deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), as well as cognitive, aptitude, and functional assessments.
