About
As a Clinical Psychology Registrar, my fundamental goal is to be able to provide a warm, non-judgmental and safe space for every person that I see. I love working with individuals from different walks of life and it is extremely rewarding to help individuals create meaningful changes in their lives.
I would say that my approach focuses on utilising evidence-based psychological approaches that are backed up with scientific research, but be able to specifically tailor them to each individual, in order to achieve their unique goals. I really do believe that collaboration and mutual trust and respect are extremely vital for effective therapy!
I have a particular interest in working with adults experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, trauma, psychosis, and drug and alcohol use. I also have experience working with adolescents and young adults with eating disorders, particularly anorexia nervosa. I am also able to provide assessment and diagnosis for individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I am also able to provide cognitive tests, aptitude tests, and functional assessments.
