Children & Young People

Childhood and adolescence are significant periods impacting the developmental trajectory of an individual. Different factors can shift the developmental trajectory including biological factors, social skills and social functioning, family dynamics, trauma, stress within different contexts such as school, work, home, as well as other factors.

There is significance in seeking support during childhood and adolescence to maintain a healthy development. The Mind Body Practice welcomes children and young people experiencing mental health concerns and aims to work as collaboratively as possible with both the child or young person, as well as their broader system including family, school, General Practitioners, and other important people identified.
